Delhi Police have detained prominent activists Abhijeet Dipke and Neha Bora near Mandi House in the national capital following a protest call issued by CJP. The detentions occurred after the activists attempted to carry out a Tiranga Yatra, or Tricolour March, without obtaining prior official permission from law enforcement authorities. According to officials, the march was blocked as it lacked the necessary clearances to maintain public order in the area. In sharp reaction to the police action, the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) released a defiant statement on social media, asserting that the national flag will continue to fly high regardless of administrative restrictions and challenging authorities to stop their movement. The situation remained a major point of discussion as security measures were heightened around the protest site following the detentions.
