MPs from 19 opposition parties belonging to the INDIA bloc are holding a 'Save Democracy March' in New Delhi to protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the poll body. The three-kilometer march begins from the Makar Dwar of Parliament House and heads towards the Election Commission headquarters. Prominent leaders participating in the demonstration include Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, and Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs Sanjay Raut and Anil Desai. The opposition alliance has organized this major protest to raise concerns regarding the functioning of the Election Commission, resulting in heavy security deployment across the national capital to manage the large gathering of politicians and supporters.

The 3 km march from Parliament House to EC headquarters will begin from the Makar Dwar of the Parliament...Opposition MPs will reach here at 10:30 am...and from there they will march to the Election Commission. SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav will also participate in today's march...while Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs... Sanjay Raut and Anil Desai will also join the protest on behalf of their party. INDIA Block has named today's march as 'Save Democracy March'
