Leaders of the INDIA opposition bloc have convened a high-level meeting in New Delhi to deliberate on critical electoral matters, notably the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and emerging divisions within the Election Commission. Chaired by senior opposition figures including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the gathering focused on the controversial handling of poll processes. A major point of discussion during the deliberations was the potential introduction of an impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The opposition parties expressed deep concern over the current administration of the electoral body and discussed formulating a unified strategy to address these institutional challenges in Parliament.
