A fresh twist has emerged in the high-profile Mansukh Hiran murder case. Retired Mumbai Assistant Commissioner of Police Bhimrao Ghadge has submitted a formal affidavit to the Central Bureau of Investigation. According to Ghadge's statement, dismissed police officer Sachin Vaze had allegedly confided in him that the murder of Hiran and the subsequent cover-up plot were executed under the direct instructions of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. This development brings fresh scrutiny to the top echelons of the Mumbai police force during that period. The CBI is currently reviewing the contents of the affidavit to determine further legal and investigative steps in the ongoing probe. Mansukh Hiran was linked to the vehicle containing explosives found near industrialist Mukesh Ambani's residence in Mumbai.

Retired Mumbai ACP Bhimrao Ghadge files a CBI affidavit claiming Sachin Vaze told him Mansukh Hiran’s murder and cover-up were ordered by then Commissioner Parambir Singh. If corroborated, the six-year-old case investigation could change direction.
