Sambit Patra Attacks Rahul Gandhi Over Empty Seats at Delhi Mega Rally | Capital TV
Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sambit Patra launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the INDIA bloc following their recent demonstration in the national capital. The opposition coalition had organized the 'Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao' mega rally at Delhi's historic Ramlila Maidan to protest against alleged irregularities in the voter list revision and the Chief Election Commissioner. However, the ruling party dismissed the event as a massive failure. Addressing the media, Patra claimed that nearly forty percent of the venue remained vacant during the gathering, exposing the lack of public support for the opposition. He questioned the coalition's tall claims regarding crowd turnout and criticized their overall political strategy. The BJP maintained that the poor attendance reflects the rejection of the opposition's agenda by the general public, further intensifying the political war of words between the ruling alliance and the opposition parties.
