Shiv Sena Hearing in Supreme Court | Abhijeet Deepke Breaks Down During Video Call | Capital TV
The political crisis surrounding the leadership dispute of the Shiv Sena party witnessed another significant development as the legal battle continued in the Supreme Court. Amid ongoing hearings regarding the disqualification petitions and the true identity of the party, Uddhav Thackeray suffered a notable setback outside the courtroom. Several local leaders and grassroots workers officially switched allegiance to the rival faction led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Among those who defected was the Kalyan East Deputy District Chief, whose departure highlights the shifting political ground at the local level. The situation escalated emotionally during a video call conference when Abhijeet Deepke reportedly broke down, reflecting the immense personal and political toll the factional feud is taking on loyalists involved in the high-stakes legal and political battle.
