Sudhanshu Trivedi Targets Congress and INDIA Alliance Over Regime Change Remarks | CJP Protest |
Bharatiya Janata Party MP Sudhanshu Trivedi launched a sharp attack against the Congress party, the INDIA alliance, and Left parties in Delhi regarding recent political remarks. Addressing a press briefing, Trivedi drew a clear distinction between a standard government change and a regime change. He alleged that the opposition coalition is deliberately resorting to terms associated with regime change because they are facing continuous public rejection and shrinking political prospects. According to the BJP leader, replacing a ruling administration through regular democratic elections is a constitutional and normal process. However, he claimed that attempts to overthrow an elected government through conspiracies, unrest, and violent conflict constitute a dangerous regime change. The ruling party continues to question the opposition's intentions amid ongoing political protests in the national capital.
In Delhi, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi, targeting the Congress, the All India Alliance, and the Left parties, explained the difference between "regime change" and "government change." He alleged that the opposition is now using such terms due to declining public support and diminishing prospects for political success. He said that changing a government through democratic elections is a normal process, while attempting to overthrow a government through conspiracy and violent conflict is called regime change.
