PM Modi's entry in Disha Salian case
The Central Bureau of Investigation has officially taken over the investigation into the high-profile death case of Disha Salian. This development follows the formal registration of a First Information Report and the submission of crucial new evidence regarding the incident. In response to the escalating situation and potential threats, Satish Salian, the father of the deceased, along with their legal counsel Nilesh Ojha, former Narcotics Control Bureau zonal director Sameer Wankhede, and Ashutosh Pathak, have formally approached authorities to seek police protection. The case has drawn significant public and political attention over the years, leading to renewed demands for a thorough and transparent probe into the circumstances surrounding her tragic demise.
CBI now probes the Disha Salian case after an FIR and evidence submission. Father Satish Salian, lawyer Nilesh Ojha, Sameer Wankhede and Ashutosh Pathak seek police protection. Ojha alleges Shiv Sena UBT threats and letters reach PM Modi and Amit Shah.
