Money laundering can be tightened against the peasant leaders who created a furore in the capital Delhi on Republic Day. After the Delhi Police’s FIR, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is considering filing a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. A senior ED official said that a copy of the FIR will be called from Delhi Police soon. Earlier, the NIA has issued notices to several leaders, including Deep Sidhu, for funding from banned terrorist organizations.
