CJP Protest LIVE: Jantar Mantar on High Alert | Abhijeet Dipke vs Delhi Police | Dr. Manish Kumar

Tensions escalated in the national capital as the Cockroach Janta Party staged a high-stakes demonstration at Jantar Mantar on October 10. The political outfit pushed forward with its agitation demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, despite the Delhi Police explicitly denying permission for the gathering. Asserting their right to protest, party leaders like Abhijeet Dipke declared that workers were fully prepared to court arrest rather than back down. In response to the defiant stance, authorities enforced stringent security measures across the area. Thousands of police personnel were deployed, supplemented by thirty-seven strategic blocking points and designated detention centres to maintain law and order. The tense standoff raised serious questions about the balance between public demonstrations and administrative restrictions, keeping security forces and onlookers on high alert throughout the day as the situation unfolded.
