Jaishankar thrashes Pakistan at the UN! | S Jaishankar | Pakistan | Shehbaz Sharif | Capital TV

1 min read

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar strongly criticized Pakistan during a high-level United Nations session in New York. Without naming Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directly, Jaishankar addressed ongoing regional issues and condemned Pakistan's continued support for cross-border terrorism. He emphasized that New Delhi will not engage in talks while terrorism persists, making India's position unequivocally clear on the global stage. The strong diplomatic rebuke highlighted Islamabad's duplicity regarding peace efforts in the region, drawing significant international attention. India reiterated that normal neighborly relations depend entirely on an atmosphere free from terror and hostility. This latest address reinforces New Delhi's firm resolve to isolate state sponsors of terrorism at multilateral forums.

Pakistan's duplicity has been exposed once again in New York. When a journalist asked Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif a direct question about terrorism on the streets of New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, he quietly walked away without answering. The journalist asked him when Pakistan would stop harboring terrorists. Shahbaz Sharif remained completely silent in response to this pointed question.
